A terraced house commission

I was asked to design a front door panel that would harmonise both with the green interior decor and the view of the trees facing the property across the lane. An added consideration was to obscure the top of any parked cars that can be seen at times at the bottom of the panel.

To achieve this I chose the open spiralling forms of young ferns, alongside pale green glass, to interplay with the view of foliage through the window. For the lower part of the panel I use the overlapping mature ferns in mid to dark green glass, for a more opaque effect.
